the 'torsorest®' body balancing concept

  • More comfortable and therefore, more tolerable long journeys.
  • Less exposure to postural, joint and muscle aches and pains.
  • Removes up to half your weight from your thighs and buttocks, improving circulation which may reduce exposure to foot and leg swelling and the risk of DVT.
  • Better science behind the method of creating a comfortable, alternative resting position.

What happens if you are in a row of seats, using the torsorest® and someone wants to get past you?

Just pull the torsorest® back to your chest and lean back, like you would normally do. The Torsorest®, in this position, takes up no more room than you do.

In circumstances where you would normally have to stand up to let someone past then you would be no worse off. Simply clasp the torsorest® to your chest and stand up (if you wished you could collapse and fold the legs before standing up but this, although simple and quick, is not usually necessary).

Unfortunately, there is no avoiding the awkwardness of disturbing people, who are resting, if you need to get past. The torsorest® will neither help nor hinder in these circumstances.
